Experts are saying that while skin cycling is great, more ‘advanced skin cycling’ is predicted to be big this year. Advanced skin cycling means that instead of following the traditional 4 night cycle of switching between an exfoliation night, retinol night, and 2 rest nights, that you can switch it up depending on your skin! This means that if your skin can tolerate higher doses, maybe add in a retinol every third day. Or if your skin is still super dry even after 2 rest days, maybe reducing retinol nights to once a week.
