Disappearing Act is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Frustrating!!! I ORIGINALLY loved this concealer more then any other concealer on the. Market. I was one of the customers who Loved the "original" shade of ' LIGHT' for this product. ***PLEASE NOTE all cosmetic companies. Before Changing a products color-- announce it so those of us who Need that shade can purchase extra in advance. My skin Needed the original light- which was very light. But perfect for me. I Love, love this product- over primer and under your 4 in one powder, makeup will last through a Busy day with no touch-ups ever necessary except - lip color of course and occasionally blush. I still love this product. Now I just have to have a Tan to use the light.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from What happened to the color? Used every speck of my original container, and was very pleased. When I ran out, I thought I would try the product in the tube/brush dispenser. I ordered the same color I just used, Fair, which was very nice -- kind of an ivory/slightly pink-tinged shade. When I received it I was surprised to find the shade darker and more beige. Thinking that was a fluke, ordered it again in the round container. No fluke --it's beige, and too dark, though website photos continue to show a different shade, closer to the original. Not Fair. Not fair! That takes it down two stars, so l'm once again on the hunt for my perfect concealer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic concealer! I have used other concealers before and when Pur Minerals introduced this new concealer, I decided to purchase it recently and give it a try. What a surprise! It not only conceals any little flaws but it is excellent for dark circles under the eyes and in fact, the comsistency of it is so hydrating and smooth that I am now using it as a primer on my eyelids. As I have very fair skin, I purchased the light concealer and the shade is so fabulous and it even works as a highlighter in the inner corners of my eyes as well as on the bow of my lips. It is absolutely the best and healthiest , non- drying and multi- tasking concealer I have ever used! Thank you Pur Minerals. You have outdone yourselves once again!

Q&A

I initially had the fairer "light" concealer but found I LOVED the darker one - that shade is perfect for me. Now "light" is not an option for ordering this concealer. What shade is now the darker version of "light?"

Dear PUR Beauty, Disappearing Act now comes in Porcelain and Light. So Light is going to be warmer than the Porcelain.

okay, so what is the difference from this round compact concealer and the disappearing ink stick one? do they each have s specific reason? Use of one over the other, or better to have both or ? also, are u supposed to use the round concealer as base, after primer, than the 4 in 1 liquid? and are u then supposed to use the pressed mineral powder?, or the primer, then the 4 n 1 liquid, oops then the concealer stick, then the 4n1 powder? is this alot? please clarify. thnx.

Hi Pur Beauty! You cannot make a wrong choice when it comes to a PUR concealer! Disappearing Act provides more coverage. The creamy texture provides a fuller coverage while Disappearing Ink is a lighter texture and contains Diamond Complex to bounce and reflect light. Our Pur Pro Artists will typically pair our fuller foundations with Disappearing Act (i.e. Liquid Foundation) or Disappearing Ink with sheer to light foundations (i.e. Liquid Veil). The order of your products can be adjusted for what you feel is best for your skin needs. When we apply the products, we will typically apply the products in this order: Primer, Concealer, Foundation (liquid, cream or powder) and then setting powder (4-in-1 Mineral Makeup). Hope this helps!

I use the 4 in 1 foundation in golden medium. And I have been using this in the medium shade. But with all the comments about the shades being darkened I am now not sure which to order for the concealer. Light or medium? Thanks!

Dear Pur Beauty, I believe you will find the Medium concealer shade in either the Disappearing Ink or Disappearing Act to be the perfect match for you!

I noticed in your Q&A section that Pur is discussing the development of a new "light" or "porcelain" shade. I am also a longtime user and lover of the light shade who is very sad to see it go. If you do create a new one, how long before we can see it in stores? Like my fellow mourners, I'm unexcited and frustrated to be using anything except this perfect product.

Seems like they don't need to "create a new Porcelain shade", just bring the old light shade back! It was a rookie mistake to get rid of it because people who thought they had fair/ivory skin ordered the lightest shade when they should have gone 1 or 2 shades darker based on their actual skin tone!!

I am yet another customer who wishes to express my EXTREME disappointment that you have darkened the colour of your "Light" Disappearing Act 4-in-1 Concealer. My question is this: WHAT are us lighter complected customers supposed to do besides change to a different product (and company) all together? I enjoy Pur Minerals for the fact that it does exactly what I want it to do without causing break outs or feeling heavy or oily on my skin. I actually did loads of research before choosing your product and now I'm feeling left out in the cold...
